August Town, Kingston, Jamaica.

Long before August Town, named after Emancipation on August 1st, 1838, became known for its recent troubles, this area in Jamaica had been significant to our people. 

Time to learn about the history of August Town and be part of its future. 

We will hear from the people of August Town, through their stories for Pitch TV, in our series: “Welcome to August Town.” 

We will inspire and educate primary school children about the opportunities available to them in the creative industry through Pitch Futures. 

Young people will create with us through Pitch Our Stories. 

Brands with purpose will be built through Pitch Cool.
