The Pitch Fanzine and partners are hosting our Pitch Futures Knowledge-sharing Creative Class with secondary school final-year students (age 16) and 6th formers (age 18) in Hackney, London, from June 2025.
Pitch Futures students will learn about creativity, music videos, film and commercial production, animation, VFX, colour, sound, design, gaming, DEI, and how to maintain their mental health in the creative industries.
We are offering Pitch Futures students a one-week work experience and mentorship to gain first-hand experience in the creative industries as part of the Pitch Futures Creative Summer School in August.
Starting in November, successful Pitch Futures students will be offered a one-day-a-week running job in the creative industries with our partners while they continue their further education at colleges or universities.
Our future talent, Gen Z and Alpha, will gain knowledge while preparing to enter the creative industries.
The UK creative industries will gain new talent, who will connect with our Jamaican and Caribbean talent to create together in the future.
The Pitch Fanzine media will follow our Pitch Futures students' career journeys and share their stories on our platform, in Pitch magazine and newsletters.
We are looking for more partners to host our Pitch Futures students, mentor them, and offer running jobs after their work experience.
The Pitch Futures programme will help reduce the amount of NEET talent in the UK’s job market, creating an impact in our communities.
