About the Jamaican people, really?

And save the planet.

About the Jamaican people, really?

Jamaicans are kind people.

Jamaicans are resilient people.

Jamaicans are friendly people.

You are a company that decides to set up your business in Jamaica, because you’ve heard how much profit you can make by exploiting the Jamaican people.

You offer no team development training or benefits, and pay your workers pocket money for wages, which they have to top up with tips from tourists or multiple side hustles to survive.

On your website, you share images of the Jamaican people and the charity work you did years ago, which you still use as marketing to attract new customers who believe you are supporting us, but in fact, you are exploiting our people.

Culture vultures is not quite the right words to describe you and your business; maybe it’s wowzers.

(Whisper) About the Jamaican people, really?

Jamaica, time to create our new futures

We are in a knowledge-sharing revolution
