Anthony and Helena Adedipe, Co-founders of Eko Brewery

Co-founders and husband-and-wife team, Anthony and Helena Adedipe create craft beer inspired by Anthony’s Nigerian roots. Their brand is named Eko, the original name for Lagos, the largest city in Nigeria.

Inspired to create their own craft beer while travelling, their initial batch of homebrew, served up to friends and family at barbecues, was so well received that the pair decided to learn how to make beer properly, and launched the company in 2018.

Since then, they’ve created five styles of craft beer all while juggling full-time jobs, with Helena working as a financial crime consultant and Anthony as an engineer. They also have two young children.

Shirley White, Founder of OTC Beverages

Three years ago, Shirley White, founder of OTC Beverages, had the spark of an idea at her father’s 80th birthday, to create non-alcoholic drinks inspired by her Caribbean heritage.

With traditional flavours like ginger beer and sorrel, her aim is to pave the way for her children and grandchildren, so that they can continue the family’s legacy.
