There is a saying in production-land; always be kind to your runners as one day they will be in charge.  

Francis Wallis was our runner during my producing days, and we loved having him around. He is fun, hardworking and talented. He also likes to ride off-road bikes.  

Over the years I have watched Francis’ career go from strength to strength and today he is a director in his own right, directing music videos and commercials through his own production company, Familia, which he founded with friends. 

With 15 years’ directing experience under his belt, Francis has collaborated with global brands like DKNY, Michael Kors and Belstaff. He was also my cover star on the launch issue of Pitch magazine, and I am proud he has fulfilled his directing dream.
