Our derrière

Time to get ourselves super ready.

Black women, let’s talk about our derrière.

Our derrière is our superpower.

Our naturally round, bouncy, firm, cushiony soft, derrière is desirable. 

I attended an industry meeting once, one of my first in the early days, wearing black paperbag trousers, with pressed white shirt tucked in, big afro, and my widest smile.

Walking up the stairs I looked around and there were a few more people following behind, than I was expecting for my meeting.

It was phone to derrière.

Phone to derrière.

Phone to derrière.

Phone to derrière. 

Thereafter I dressed for church, or the river, moving quietly through our industry, making true connections for my real mission.

Worked a treat, kept everything covered right up. Got loads done.

But now, feel free to admire my naturally round, bouncy, firm, cushiony soft, derrière to your heart’s content.

Our derrière is our superpower.
