Call her, Kenisha, the animation film

Project 005.

The Pitch Fanzine is collaborating on Life Lessons Learned, a series of animated films, based on my childhood stories growing-up in Saint Ann, Jamaica, age 6 to 13.

The films will be gifted through Pitch Futures to the Jamaican people.

We will use funds raised from the films for initiatives, programmes, and campaigns, creating jobs and new opportunities, including future animation projects bringing the U.K. and Jamaica’s creative talent together.

Over the coming years, during the creation of the Call her, Kenisha short film series, starting with the story, Our days at the river, we will visit Jamaica yearly for Pitch Futures Creative Jamaica and share knowledge about the creative industries with children in primary schools, as part of the Important for Jamaica and the world programme.

The Pitch Futures Creative Classes will be filmed as a series of documentaries and shared on Pitch TV.

In March 2025, we will host the first Pitch Knowledge and Learning Music, Film Plus Tech Summit in Jamaica.

New creative talent from the U.K will be invited to Jamaica to take part in the Pitch Futures programme and meet with new creative talent at the summit in Kingston.

We will screen the first Pitch Music Legends of Jamaica documentary teaser film and showcase concious musicians coming up.

In 2030, we will share the first animated short film in the Call her, Kenisha series, Our days at the river along with Jamaican and U.K. filmmakers’ work.

The Pitch Fanzine media will champion and showcase creative talent in Pitch Magazine, our Wednesdays at 2:30pm Newsletters, socials, events, and on Pitch TV.

Call her, Kenisha, project 005, is in development.

Time, to create our new futures.

Best wishes,
