The Ticket

Covid time hit us all bad. Especially creative people out there. I had to do something about it as otherwise I would have gone nuts… I was nuts for a while 🙃 but hopefully this is gone.

…. I did the inevitable and persuaded my producer to shoot a short film and he agreed to do it, with a little bit of pressure of course! We shot The Ticket at the end of August, which was very strategic, because I insisted on that specific period — where you have beautiful green colours and just amazing looking green stuff in our town, Sofia.

This was a massive trouble to do, as when we decided on the date and locked everything with my UPM, all the other productions that were waiting for a green light went on that exact timing and we lost most of our crew due to, you know, they work for money.

Everyone on the film worked for the passion of filmmaking and a hot meal 🤣 and we did it. I worked with a lot of new faces - fresh blood, so to say, young people. I feel very proud of what we’ve achieved in these times.

Hopefully the film will be available next year around March.
