STORYLETTER GUIDELINES

Time for the next stage.

Here is your chance to share your story.

The other one.

Taking in the subjects of race, racism, allyship and our future free of racism – told through your personal life journey.

You will have a choice of story brief over the coming months.

July’s: When did you learn you were a colour too/you were different? Or write about: Our future free of racism – your vision, taking in your childhood.

To be considered for each month’s Storyletters series you must submit the first two paragraphs of your story (500-600 words max for the entire story) and a brief outline of the rest.

Up to four stories will be selected each week and featured on our platform, with one shared in our Sundays at 2:30 Storyletters.

Open to all who are on our Sundays at 2:30 Storyletters mailing list.

Deadline to pitch your story for our next Storyletter is this Tuesday 30th of June by 5pm.

If your story is selected, I will get back to you and give you the go-ahead to write your story in full for a quick-turn-around deadline – so please keep this in mind.

To those whose story is not selected – as it’s not humanly possible to include everybody – do write and share your story with the world. Once we really start socialising again, we will also share our stories with each other.

All stories, once approved, will be featured on our platform – you must submit your own visual. Your story may also be selected and shared in our Sundays at 2:30 Storyletters.

Please submit your story pitch to: storyletters@thepitchfanzine.com

Let’s really get to know each other.

Then the next stage.
